Refund Policy: 

Please note that we have a NO REFUND POLICY.

BOOKING CONDITIONS – ACCOMMODATION

· To confirm your booking, a deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required within 3 working days of your booking. The balance must be received at least 14 days before arrival or Amble Cottage Mornington may cancel the booking with no refund of the deposit.

· Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa, Money Order, Cheque or direct deposit to “Amble Cottage Mornington”.

· A security bond and current driver’s license can be requested for any booking.

· Online bookings for arrival on the same day or the next day must be confirmed by telephone during office hours or the booking may not be valid. 

· Weekend nights are Thursday & Friday, Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday. Consecutive nights from Sunday to Thursday are considered      midweek.

· Check-in time is 2pm on the day of arrival and the property must be vacated by 11am unless otherwise advised by Amble Cottage Mornington.

· Requests for assistance or maintenance may result in extra charges where the guest is at fault.

· Amble Cottage Mornington is not responsible for the security of your belongings and encourages you to ensure your accommodation is secure when not occupied.

· Any additional cleaning incurred will be charged directly to you. Please leave your accommodation tidy.

· Please respect the privacy of our local community and neighbours. If a guest’s behaviour or noise level is unreasonable, a warning will be given and ignoring this will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.

· At no time unless arranged with owners can extra people stay (other than those confirmed at booking)

· The rent is not refundable unless owner can rebook the property for the entire period of the cancellation.

· Strictly no pets permitted

· Strictly no smoking indoors.

· No parties are to be held during your stay. Music must not disturb neighbours.

· Keys must be returned to Key Safe. Key Safe codes must not be changed

· All breakages and damage must be reported and paid for to the satisfaction of the owner. This cost shall be charged to the occupant.

· No refund shall be made for early departure.

· Furniture must not be moved from position it was found in.

· After the property is vacated the owners or the owners representatives shall make an inspection of the property, there decision as to the state of the property, or damage caused is final.

· Person who’s name the booking is made under or person who uses credit card facility on website is solely responsible for the booking, and this person undertakes that they have agreed to the Terms and Conditions. That person becomes solely responsible for the care of the rental property, its contents and surrounds. Owner is not liable for any damage caused to property or persons. No responsibility is taken for guest’s property left on premises.

· Owners will not be held responsible if services are disrupted during your stay for some unforeseen reason.

 

DAMAGED OR MISSING PROPERTY

· Please notify Amble Cottage Mornington immediately of any loss or damage to property, including keys. A key replacement fee of $50 will be charged in addition to any locksmith’s fees to replace or change locks throughout the property.

· The guest responsible for the booking will be charged for any household items that are damaged, removed or lost.

 

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Amble Cottage Mornington reserves the right to debit your credit card, or request payment in full for any outstanding charges that apply to your booking. This includes extra cleaning, rubbish removal, additional guests, extended stays, late check outs, extra bedrooms occupied, lost keys, callouts, repairs or damage to the property.

 

Amble Cottage Mornington has the right to refuse a booking.

 

Pricing Policy:

All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 4 September 2009

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

The types of personal information that we collect from you will depend on the circumstances of collection and on the type of service you request from us. The type of information we will collect about you includes: Your name; Address; Telephone numbers; Email address; Drivers Licence number and expiry date; Credit Card number and expiry date. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your express consent.

 

HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We may collect personal information about you when you deal with us over the telephone, send us correspondence (letter, fax or email), visit our websites or when you have contact with us in person.   As well as collecting information directly from you, there may be occasions when we collect information about you from a third person. For example, from people making bookings on your behalf.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We generally collect your personal information to process your accommodation booking. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer but otherwise it is anonymous.   We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes.  An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

 

THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE

· We may disclose your personal information to third parties, for example, to our contractors to whom we contract out certain services. We engage third party contractors to perform services for us, which on occasion involves the contractor handling personal information we hold. For example, we currently engage third party contractors to: Provide electronic funds transfer services, credit card account processing and related services; Collect commissions payable to us; Clean accommodation provided; Provide personal body treatments – i.e. massages etc.; Supply floral arrangements; Provide catering services or dinner reservations; Bicycle and motorbike hire; Vehicle transfers; Supply other personal services requested by you; In these situations, we prohibit the third party contractor from using personal information about you except for the specific purpose for which we supply it. They are not permitted to retain any customer information after they have completed their contracted obligations.  Your information may also be shared between related companies necessary to provide a service to you.

· Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.
